Everyday morning, you’ll get to see lot of birds. If you have binocular, you can bring it. I used to spend first two hours in bird watching.
For families traveling with children, the mini kids play area. I would say it is suitable for very small kids less than 7 yrs old.

However, for self drivers, you need little bit more skill to handle couple of sharp hairpin bends in narrow road to reach the resort. If rain is less then you're lucky, during heavy rain at dark, wait for rain to stop. It appeared that all effort was taken not to disturb the lay of the land. Rooms were comfortable with all required comforts; a great place to goof off and just spend time walking the hills.
A special shout out to the chef who's cooking had us crying for more. Exceptional! And also the staff who we found to be cheerful, ever smiling, and ready to go out of their way to make us comfortable. I can blindly recommend this place to anyone and would place it above Thekady where we spent another two days.

Our room was neat and arranged. We occupied Delux room. The best part of the accomodation was the attached balcony and the resort premise itself. The beauty of tea garden, silence of the valley, bird chirping, fresh breeze took away our travel stress. The bed was very comfortable so good sleep is guaranteed.

Entire resort is wi-fi enabled.

For children, there are many indoor and outdoor game facilities.

We went for local sightseeing and it was arranged by Falcon Crest. We chose one jeep. Jeep ride was adventurous.

The resort is situated within mesmerizing tea garden. This beauty can not be expressed in words. Hence, we spent more time inside resort premise. We clicked many photos and they are amazingly beautiful.

There were some issues with electrical equipments inside our room which was promptly handled by the staff. Every staff be it front office, food & beverage, housekeeping posses pleasing personality.

The breakfast menu changes every day by introducing varied dishes which take away monotony. We enjoyed all three meals there.

Overall, Falcon Crest is the nature lover's Paradise. More

We were in the deluxe room with a balcony. Clean linen,clean interiors and a very comfortable bed.

The food is excellent. The buffet breakfast has a sizable spread with fresh juice. The pallapams were made to perfection.We ordered mini veg thali for lunch and it seemed like we were having home cooked food, it was that good. The Mango fish curry, kerala porotta,kerala style Tawa prawns all were top notch. The tea leaves pakodas didn't impart any different taste but were well made. Chef Ganesh is very good.So is Mon Limbu from North East who makes the best Pallapams. Light lacy and crisp.

The waiters Bhirka and Soce are attentive,smiling and prompt. Ajay did an excellent job of cleaning our car inside out and both the Managers Ajeesh and Sibin are very helpful.

The property is well maintained amidst tea gardens, and a variety of flowers.

But what stood out was the genuinely happy staff, not even found in 5 star hotels where they look clinically happy. Upon asking, they said they have very good employers and hence are very happy with their jobs. Speaks a lot for the smooth running of the resort.

Their service was also really nice, They responded to all our requests really well. One of us had an electric car. The resort also provided facilities to charge our car for free. This came in really handy.

For those travelling with senior citizens with mobility issues, the super deluxe rooms are very conveniently located at the road grade.
2. The staff is very courteous. A special mention for the front desk - especially Sibin who was extremely helpful and acted promptly on our requests. Sujeeth was also helpful. The chef also responded positively to our requests for meals and infact went out of his way to cook a special meal for my mother who was fasting. She immensely enjoyed the same. The breakfast buffet was also adequate. It was not lavish, but the limited items were well made and appropriate for the price point.
3. There are also villas on the property with three or four bedrooms for a family visit. At the price point, the resort had a good and adequate game room with a pool table, Carrom board and games for kids.

Staff at Falcon Crest deserve an appreciation in itself as they are always at your service and happy to do so as well.

Rooms (en-suite) are spacious and spotless, specially designed in ways that you overlook the luscious green hills from your balcony.

Food quality is commendable. It made it very convenient for us that they took orders well in advance, after each time of the day. Worth the pricing.

Sight-seeing options are available from reception.

The property is on a higher altitude, spread across a huge area up the hill that there's nothing around except other holiday resorts and tea valleys and therefore, it is serene and calm. We enjoyed evenings walks to the little tea stall down the hill, at the junction, where we'd sit and have tea or coffee and a home-made snack with it. You'll also find a couple of shops that sell essentials, should you need so.

Word of caution - The main roads leading to Falcon Crest (till the turning to the resort) are not in the best of conditions, which makes the drive to the area a little challenging.
